As the founder of Shaw Services, Don has dedicated his entire career to the mechanical service industry, starting at the young age of 18. His passion for the trade and the people he works with has been the driving force behind the company’s success.
Don built Shaw Services on the principles of personal service and pride in every job. He is committed to delivering responsive, knowledgeable, and high-quality service, setting Shaw Services apart from larger competitors.
With decades of experience, Don remains hands-on in ensuring that every customer experiences the Shaw Services difference—a personal promise he stands by with every project.
Donny S.
Lead Installer
Donny has been part of the Shaw Services family since 2011, starting part-time and moving to a full-time role in 2017. With 13 years of experience in the HVAC industry, he’s gained extensive knowledge and expertise in solving heating and cooling challenges for both residential and commercial customers.
Donny’s favorite part of working at Shaw Services is the great team of people he gets to collaborate with every day. He thrives in the physically active nature of his role and enjoys the fulfillment of solving problems and delivering quality work to customers.
When he’s not on the job, Donny can be found enjoying hunting, camping, hiking, motorcycle riding, or online multiplayer games. He also loves watching TV or movies with friends and tackling household projects. Fun fact: Donny wears his belts left-handed because “it just felt right” as a kid—and he’s stuck with it ever since!
Jaron
LEAD INSTALLER/SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Jaron has been in the HVAC industry for 7 years—and every one of them has been with Shaw Services. As a long-time team member, he appreciates being part of a small, family-operated company where everyone knows your name and has your back.
What Jaron loves most about his job is meeting new people and getting to know them—he thrives on connection and great conversations.
When he’s not out on a job, you’ll probably find Jaron watching or playing sports, or soaking up the sun on a cruise with his family. Speaking of family, here’s a fun fact: Jaron is a proud dad of two—and has over 100 first and second cousins!
Jessie
Office Manager
Jessie has been with Shaw Services over 10 years as our office manager! She’s one of the friendly voices you hear when you call. She has a background in exceptional customer care and strong understanding of customer concerns. Her positive and supportive attitude makes working with Shaw Services a pleasant experience. Personable service is the business we are in, and Jessie provides that with every call she receives. Her priority is to ensure comfort and satisfaction in a timely and professional manner. She works with the kind of company that allows her to work remotely to allow more flexibility with her kids schedules. Why? We care. Just as we care for every customer we come in contact with.
John D.
Lead Installer
John has been in the HVAC industry for three years, all of which he’s spent as a valued member of the Shaw Services team. His favorite part of the job is working alongside great people who share a dedication to quality and teamwork.
Outside of work, John enjoys playing soccer and staying active. A fun fact about him? His very first job was dressing up as Chuck E. Cheese!
John takes pride in his role at Shaw Services, ensuring every project is handled with care and precision to deliver the best results for customers.
Patty
Head of the Accounting Department
Patty is a true local girl having grown up in Prince William County. She graduated from George Mason with a degree in Accounting. She has done bookkeeping for small businesses for over 20 years and has been with Shaw Services since 2010. She enjoys showing her Air Cooled Volkswagens, Boston Terriers, and going on cruises with her husband and son.
Ryan R.
Senior Service Technician
Ryan has exclusively worked and received training here at Shaw Services. He received his Virginia Journeyman License quite early in his career. Ryan is one of our senior technicians. He is well versed in load calculations for new system additions, and heads our new construction division. Ryans family is local to the area and active in the community. Easily identifiable with his signature accessory: a baseball cap, Ryan enjoys fishing, golfing in nice weather, and baseball.
Sunny S.
Senior Service Technician
With 17 years of experience in the HVAC industry and six years as a key member of the Shaw Services team, Sunny brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to every project. He loves the freedom and trust he experiences at Shaw Services, allowing him to deliver exceptional results without being micromanaged.
Sunny thrives on the daily challenges of the job, constantly learning and solving problems to restore heating and cooling systems for customers. The highlight for him? Seeing the joy on customers’ faces when their systems are up and running again.
Outside of work, Sunny enjoys spending time with his large family, perfecting his “curls for the girls,” and channeling his inner Iron Chef in the kitchen. A fun fact: his real name, Suliya, means “the sun rising with brightness, giving light, power, and happiness” in his native language—an inspiration behind his nickname, Sunny.

LEAD INSTALLER
Santiago has been an integral part of the Shaw Services team for the past two years. He values the opportunity to continue learning and growing while delivering excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction. Santiago believes in the importance of hard work and giving 100% in everything he does, both on and off the job.
A proud father and bilingual professional, Santiago enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, and exploring the great outdoors. His dedication to both his work and personal life reflects his commitment to making a positive impact wherever he goes.
