Aaron attended technical training before landing at Shaw Services. He became interested in the air conditioning and heating field while still in high school. Deciding to learn not only the field skills, but also the theory behind the business, he attended a two-year training program to enhance his skills. We can train almost anyone, but we always look for those core values: honesty, integrity, and a caring demeanor. Aaron shares our values as a company and reminds us of that on every job.
Donny has been with Shaw services for 7 years and has an advanced skill level at his age. Finishing his senior year at James Madison University is his primary goal for the coming year. With everything great in our lives comes hard work, we think he may be one of our hardest workers here. His background in robotics makes the technical aspect of his job easier to understand. His positive attitude and good work ethic make clean installations and customer service come easy. He loves spending time with his dad and enjoys cars and the outdoors.
I love what I do and the people I work with. My occupation, starting at the age of 18, has been the mechanical service business. Personal service and pride in what we do is what makes us different. I’m Emily Shaw and I’m Jessie and Patty’s assistant for the summer. My job is full of filing and office duties. My passion is to help the guys to complete field work. I attend Battlefield High School and will be a junior next year. My robotics background gives me a good understanding of how a mechanical system works. Reading and spending time with my brothers are some of my interests.
Jessie is the friendly voice you hear when you call with a question or to set up your appointment. She has a background in exceptional customer care and strong understanding of customer concerns. Her positive and supportive attitude makes working with Shaw Services a pleasant experience. Personable service is the business we are in, and Jessie provides that with every call she receives. Her priority is to ensure comfort and satisfaction in a timely and professional manner. She works with the kind of company that provides in-house day care for her baby daughter. Why? We care. Just as we care for every customer we come in contact with.
Senior Service Technician
Jim has been with us from the beginning. Most of our clients have a personal relationship with him and ask for him by name. With 20 years in the residential service business, there isn’t much he hasn’t seen. The technology of our business changes every day and he is excited about the future and training required. Customer care and satisfaction is his primary job description. He loves spending time with his family, with a little golf thrown in.
Justin has been with the company for two years. He is in training to provide a great product with a focus on customer service, training every day to learn the technical and service skills that are necessary in our industry. As with most his age, he loves video games and spending time with his family.
Head of the Accounting Department
Patty is a true local girl having grown up in Prince William County. She graduated from George Mason with a degree in Accounting. She has done bookkeeping for small businesses for over 20 years and has been with Shaw Services for 6 years. She enjoys showing her Air Cooled Volkswagens, Boston Terriers, and going on cruises with her husband and son.
Senior Service Technician
Ryan has exclusively worked and received training here at Shaw Services. He has qualified and passed his Virginia Journeyman License exam quite early in his career. Ryan has been in charge of our remodeling division and has multiple skills, including full system sizing and design. His design skills enable him to make great selections depending on each client’s needs and expectations. Newly married with a small child make for a busy schedule. He enjoys fishing and playing rugby.
Steve joined us about a year ago. He is currently in training and transitioning into the lead installer position. We look for exactly what he is: a caring, honest person with a positive and motivated attitude. He is one of the quickest learners we have here and the fact that he can lift just about anything does not hurt either. Yes, the work is physically demanding. His great work ethic and ability to learn quickly is a refreshing quality. He loves fishing but normally follows the catch and release theory (he’s a big softy).
With 10 years experience in the air conditioning and heating installation field, Sunny joined us a year ago. He is one of the most upbeat people we have ever met. His attitude is consistently positive, always looking to provide the best equipment installation in Northern Virginia. He is everything we look for in an installation technician; charismatic, energetic, and always puts his best foot forward on every job. Pride in what he does and attention to detail makes him different. He makes our customers smile. Fishing, cars, and country music are some of his interests.
Jordan is our newest helper. His primary job is to assist with the installation of your home comfort products and display a supportive attitude with anyone he comes in contact with. His great attitude and willingness to help make him an asset to Shaw Services.
